We are bringing an one-stop shopping destination to our Canadian customers to experience Japanese culture 🎎 and innovation without leaving the city! We are hoping this store will serve the needs in consumer demand on culture-oriented product varieties. There will be estimated 25,000 varieties of Japanese products for this new location according to Mimi Lam, our Store Manager for Oomomo Toronto. “First Markham Place is in the heart of Markham and Markham is cultivated with Asians. Most Asian customers are familiar with the brands that we carry such as Daiso and Seria.” says Mimi Lam. “People have been calling and asking at North York store when First Markham Place store is opening. There for sure has an anticipation because a lot of Asian customers as mentioned previously are centralized in Markham.”

We have decorated one of the sections at our new store with adorable ⛩️ Torii (鳥居 ) - traditional Japanese gates under cherry blossom 🌸 We also installed some 📸POP-UP photo stations at our Markham store for an unique and fun experience!!
MANEKI-NEKO
We have a photo stage set up with a huge maneki-neko ( 招き猫, literally refers to "beckoning cat") as a photo station!! 😺 Maneki-neko is a famous Japanese cat with its paw raised waving in good fortune and good luck!
